The CN Tower Toronto, which was built in 1976, is a distinct part of the city’s skyline that draws about 2 million visitors annually to take in incredible views of the city, and much more. For close to 35 years, it held records worldwide for being the tallest structure, having the highest disco, the highest revolving restaurant, the highest observation deck, and more. It certainly is a site to be seen by anyone who visits Toronto.
Although it has lost its reign on some of the world records it held, it boasts some other great attractions to continue to lure visitors, such as the EdgeWalk. This new attraction, which opened in the summer of 2011, allows thrill-seekers to walk around the edge of the main pod, only being tethered to the rail system. For safety reasons, it is only open in the summer and when weather conditions are favorable. Take in the SkyWalk, the Skydome and the Metro Toronto Convention Center after visiting the observation deck and dining at the world renowned CN Tower Toronto revolving restaurant, for an unforgettable time.
